PUMPKIN PICKING AT THE LITTLE COW SHED

It has been a typical autumn day here today . The sun has been shining , with that little Autumn crisp in the air, it has been so nice.

We took the girls up to the little cow shed in Brereton Heath today. It is literally a shed in the middle of a farm that dispenses fresh milk and fresh flavoured milk.

I know so many people that have been and have said how cool it is , but we’ve never had the chance to go , but they have opened up a little pumpkin patch this year so we decide to take the girls for one last half term treat :)

It’s only about 25 minutes drive from us, so didn’t take long at all. There is some free parking but also a pay and display for £1 an hour which I thought was really reasonable.

We decided to get our pumpkins first and then head for the milkshakes . Does anyone else find pumpkin picking hard work? , or are we just really fussy!.

We also try and find spookly every time we go pumpkin picking , if you’ve watched it on Netflix then you’ll know what I am on about :)

The patch was a little bit of the field that they had closed off with hay and they had scarecrows made on either side. I did tease the girls about them coming to life , they looked so real!.

We picked our pumpkins and queued up for milkshake. They have fresh plain milk or chocolate, strawberry and banana. They also do a special flavour every month and this time it was toffee apple, fitted in perfectly with Halloween.

So easy to do , and all contactless payment . It’s literally like a vending machine . The girls thought it was so cool. You can either buy a cup or a glass bottle and when you come back it’s cheaper to reuse the bottle which is a great idea.

We got every flavour and when I tell you this is the nicest milkshake I have ever tasted , I am not kidding. So creamy and absolutely delicious!.

The toffee apple had a slight toffee flavour and was such a different milkshake to try , but really tasty .

We also picked up some treats - I mean , when they have white chocolate ghosts filled with biscoff , I’m not saying no! :)

It was a lovely afternoon and really looking forward to going again .

I definitely have my eye on the salted caramel special when it next comes out :)
