BIDDULPH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON

One thing I really missed last year was all the light switch ons, the local Christmas markets and everything that we usually do at this time of year was cancelled.

Me and Kadiann went to the Manchester Christmas Market last weekend, and we had such a lovely time and it really did put us in the festive spirit.

Nila has been going on about the Biddulph Christmas lights for the past week. They have all sorts there including the fair, and she could not wait to go on all the rides!.

She is poorly so we weren’t staying for to long.

We did the rides first, and then went to get some food. Standard burger and chips are always a must at the light switch on, and of course some candy floss for on the way home.

We actually missed the lights being switched on as we were waiting in the queue for Santa, you can’t win them all can you :)

The tree looked lovely though and Nila was over the moon to see Santa, and she asked for everything like kids do, and was chuffed he gave her a lollipop!.

As usual, it was absolutely freezing and by the end of the night we couldn’t feel our fingers or toes but the girls had a lovely time and we can’t wait for more festive evenings out .

  4. It must be so nice to go to the Manchester Christmas market. Is it a big market? I went to a Christmas market in North Wales which was lovely, lots of food tastings.
