A holiday is not complete without a water park day planned. When booking our holiday to Tenerife I was looking at things close by and the Aqualand water park kept coming up. We planned a whole day there and we had a blast!.
AQUALAND TENERIFE
The park is huge!. We thought we had done it all and then realised we had missed part of the park completely so will definitely go back :)
From rides for the adrenaline junkies to loads of kid’s play areas and slides, sunbathing areas and relaxing stations, Aqualand is the perfect day out for all the family.
ON ARRIVAL
You pay for your ticket at the gate, or online and enter. Then there is the dolphin stand where you can book to swim with the dolphins, play with them and hug them. Prices for this vary depending on your package. We most definitely booked this and it was amazing!.
Lockers are next and these are 6 euros and contactless payment. You get a pin and can use your locker all day, going back and forth with the pin to open it. Here is where you can purchase waterproof phone cases too.
There is a lady there that helps you to use the machine and seal your phone. These are different to the reusable ones, you can't open these ones and once you are done they have to be cut off. 7 euros for the case and 3 euros for the neck strap.
We did have one of our reusable ones from our last holiday to Turkey that we brought with us as well as having to purchase one of these ones.
We later found that you can purchase these reusable ones in most shops for cheaper and you get to keep them :)
ADMISSION FEE
Adults (11 + ) 32 euros
Children ( 5-10 ) 24 euros
Toddlers ( 3-4.) 13 euros
under 2s go in free
DOLPHIN SHOW
There is a dolphin show which is included in your price daily at 3.30. We loved it and the staff and dolphins interact with the audience, was really fun.
OPENING TIMES
The park is open daily from 10 - to 5 pm, summer it stays open until 6pm, but check the website before you plan your trip for any changes.
FOOD & DRINK
We stopped for a little bite to eat. Some fries and a drink were 9 euros but you can take your own food and drink if you want to.
We got there at 10.30 and didn't leave until the staff was literally kicking us out, we hadn't realised the time and were still enjoying ourselves!.
Alessia and I enjoyed a chilled-out stroll down the lazy river while Nila took full advantage of the kid's play area.
Then all the bigger rides which we all enjoyed, even Nila.
We had so much fun, would highly recommend a day here and can not wait to go again.
I have never heard of this place before, but I am so glad you put it on my radar! It looks like so much fun and totally worth the price! -AJ
