We have had quite a few home days so far this summer holiday. The weather hasn’t been great, lots of rainy days, movie afternoons, and indoor play. Today the sun has finally made an appearance, so we decided to make the most of it with a little girls' retail therapy and a cinema date!
We went to see Bad Guys 2, and it was absolutely brilliant! As soon as we heard the sequel was coming out, I made sure to pop it into our calendar. We loved the first one, so we had high hopes, and it did not disappoint. Lots of giggles and singing along too.
I have been trying to cut down on unnecessary spending over the summer,it is too easy to overspend when you are out and about, so I used some Prezzee vouchers to save money on our cinema tickets. I also brought popcorn from home, and we just grabbed drinks at the cinema. Every little bit helps, right?.
After the film, we did a bit of shopping. Nila has been saving up her pocket money for the last few months and was so excited to treat herself. She found Cherry’s son, a tiny teddy that looks exactly like her beloved Cherry. If you follow us on YouTube, you will know Cherry is the giant bear she absolutely adores. She was over the moon! Her little face lit up, and she proudly declared the tiny bear to be Cherry’s baby, and we have named him Berry, original I know :)
We also picked up some bath bombs and face masks for a girls’ pamper night this weekend at my mum’s, along with a few crafty bits to take with us too.
It’s been such a lovely afternoon out and all without spending an absolute fortune. Sometimes, the simplest days end up being the most special.
