Like usual, every year the girls and I sit down and come up with things we would all like to do over the summer. Not just as a whole, but one-on-one time with the children is very important to me, and also for them.
Play Roblox
If you are a regular here, then you will know this was Nila's suggestion and at the top of her list. We all love Roblox and love a gaming session, so this will be one we will all love.
A Beach Trip
It is most definitely on the cards. We have got a weekend away in hembsy in a few weeks and I can not wait for a day at the beach.
Swimming At The Gym
My gym membership includes swimming, and we haven't been for so long. The girls are really looking forward to having some fun swimming. It's already paid for through my membership, so it makes for a free and fun day over the summer.
Girls Day
These are a must!. I have three daughters and nothing beats a girls' day shopping, Starbucks and giggles.
Play Date
I think it's important for Nila to still have fun days with kids. She will be going to Sports club once a week while I work, and we are visiting cousins over the holidays, so we will be having some really fun playdates.
Cinema
More than one cinema trip will be had. We are a family that loves a movie, Cineworld have £1 viewings over the school holidays, so definitely look into that and get yourself booked. Some of the movies are Minecraft, Sonic and Stitch.
Crafts
We have decided on craft and colouring days. Our crafts and colouring stash is very impressive and is forever being added too. In bed with the colouring books and goosebumps = perfect!.
Baking
Homemade pancakes, flapjacks and delicious gooey chocolate brownies, yes !.
Results Day Party
Lessie has sat her GCSE and said we should have a results day party, cocktail sausages, cupcakes, and celebrate, such a cute idea!
Manchester Train Day
The girls and I love a train trip, get some sushi, they get to spend their pocket money, and it's always such a lovely day. We haven't had one of these days since Christmas, and we love an all-you-can-eat sushi bar.
We all definitely need the summer holidays this year. A good break, laughter and looking forward to making more memories.
