OUR 5 FIVE FAVOURITE FESTIVE BOOKS THIS YEAR

We are definitely a house of book worms . We are always reading and I love the fact that the girls take after me and have such a love for books .

We swap the box downstairs with books to suit the season and Nila always has her favourites . I thought I’d share our 5 festive favourites this year and maybe you could add to your collection :)

Ten little series is a big favourite in our house and I recently picked up the ten little elves for this Christmas as we hadn’t read it yet or seen it in the library.

Nila loves it and loves seeing what the cheeky elves get upto. I picked this one up from Amazon actually pre loved for around £4 with free delivery:)

This year Nila has started to understand Christmas and is really excited about Christmas Day. We’ve been reading the night before Christmas.

There are so many different versions of this story and I actually make the words up in this one to make it sound a little more toddler friendly :) she absolutely loves it .

Bear stays up for Christmas has been the one we have been reading most evenings . Bear’s friends are determined to keep him awake for Christmas. They get him to help them find a Christmas tree, bake some cakes , sing carols - but do they succeed?

That’s not my Santa and that’s not my elf I picked up from the charity shop for 50p each - absolute bargain. We already have the snowman one so I think our Xmas collection is now complete . We love these books , I think they are a hit with all little ones aren’t they.

Laura’s little star is a book that has followed us through all three girls . It’s a story about a Christmas trip to Aunt Martha’s house being cancelled because the car breaks down . It’s a happy ending , but I won’t give it away :)

I’d love to know if you have any favourites when it comes to this time of year with your little ones :)
