GOALS FOR 2018

Happy New Year!

So we are officially in 2018 and I can honestly say that I am so ready to make the most of this year!

I don’t tend to make resolutions and I feel there is so much pressure to stick to them or not break them, and the last thing you want to do at the start of the year is to stress yourself out ! I have come up with a Goals list, that I am aiming to achieve this year , and if I don’t achieve them, who cares!. I have set these goals for myself to keep me motivated and have something to reach for .

I am one of them people that work better with a list , a note pad and a plan! So here are my goals for 2018..

1. Pass My Driving Test

I have been saying for years that I am going to past my test and I don’t even get round to having a lesson!. If you don't know my driving history-  I actually purchased a car and was insured to learn in it , providing my Mum was with me and since I sold that car , my motivation for passing hasn’t left the floor!

Now Nila is here , I have three girls to attend to , and buses are a pain in the backside with a pushchair. Also I would love to take the girls on road trips and be able to take a weekend out to visit my parents in Great Yarmouth , so my top goal is to pass my test - Watch this space!

2. Be Kind To Myself

Now this might seem an odd one for some , but I am honestly so hard on myself and I am my own worst enemy at times. I doubt myself , being a sufferer of low moods - I am constantly over thinking and then my anxiety takes a spiral and it’s like a vicious circle. I vow to be kind to myself and my mental health and to remember it is okay to not be super Mum 24/7 , even Batman has a day off :)

3. Minimalise

I am a sucker for bargains and deals and ‘special offers’ and generally spending. We have used our Christmas vouchers and money  to purchase all the necessities for both us and the children - socks , vests, trainers - we have enough bath products to last us (and the entire street) a whole year , and I want to get through everything we have in the home , sell what we don’t need or use and de clutter the hell out of 2018 :)

4. Spread The Love

Spread the love simple means what you read - spread the love ; between myself , the children and Scott. I focus so much on one aspect at times ,that I totally forget myself , forget family time , couples time . Housework can wait until we’ve had games night . The dishes can wait until the movie has finished , i bet you all know where i am coming from with this one .

5. Wheel Of The Year

2017 was like a big flash before my eyes , it went so fast and I couldn’t slow it down at all. If you didn’t know , I am an eclectic pagan , spirituality and nature is a big part of my life - and 2017 apparently didn’t have time for that , and I felt like I had lost touch with the earth. This year I have planned to get ahead of the Pagan wheel of the year and enjoy every sabbat's with the girls and really teach them more this year.

6. Self Employed Blogger!

2017 was an amazing year for my blog . I put so much work and effort into it. Stayed up until 5am some nights working on it and making it what it is now , and I am so proud of myself and how far I have come with it that I am entering 2018 as a self employed Blogger and my goal for this year is to work my butt off even more and make this work!

7. Make Memories !

Finally I want to make as many memories as I can this year . Our family was completed last year with Baby Nila being born - I have my three gorgeous girls and I want us all to have an amazing year full of adventures, smiles and love .

What are your goals for 2018? :)
