TIMELINE : SCIENCE MUSEUM GAME | REVIEW

We have been lucky enough to be selected to test out some of the games from Asmodee over the next few weeks. If you’ve followed us for a while then you will know we love a games night and try to have as many as we can with the kiddies .

First up is the Science museum Timeline game . First impressions straight away I thought it would be a great game to take away with you if you are planning a holiday or a weekend away. It is super small and compact - great for packing and not using up much space at all.

In the box you have 110 double sided Timeline cards and these are your game!. It also comes with the instruction leaflet to tell you how to play. Each card has the same image and description on both sides but the date of the invention or the first use is only on one side.

So how do you play?

You deal out 3-5 cards to all players - this depends on how many players there are. Place the rest of the cards in a pile with the dated side facing down . Take the first card and place it down as the starting point of your ‘timeline’. Everyone then attempts to place their cards in the right order on the correct spot on the timeline - make sense?.

When you put a card down , you then turn it over to see if it is in the right place - if it is then your one step closer to winning :), if not then the card gets put at the bottom of the pile and you have to pick another card. The winner is the one with no cards left.

The game is for ages 8+ and lasts around 15 minutes which is perfect if your wanting a quick game before dinner is ready or some quality time before bed .

Alessia really enjoyed learning some new facts and she is very much into science so this was definitely a thumbs up from her :)

It retails at £13.99 and can be purchased from places like Amazon .
