School is officially out for summer! I’m probably more excited than the children about that. I don’t know about you but I think they are at school for far to long .
I can’t believe yesterday was Lessie bug’s last day in year 5- my baby is going into her last year of primary school in September, then it will be high school! I wish these kiddies would slow down and stop growing so fast!
She hasn’t had the best end of this school year so I am hoping year 6 will be different and full of positivity and a happy place to be for her.
Summer holidays are finally here and we can not wait to start having some fun !
We have got so many fun things planned for this summer - we have a weeks holiday in Wales , a trip to Drayton manor park , a picnic to plan and also a den to make .
We have done a summer buckets list if you want to go and check that out . Our summer isn’t planned on lots of expensive things to do.I am a firm believer in saving the pennies over the holidays and finding some cool and exciting things to do for free or at a very low cost - especially with more than one child.
I can tell you this morning Alessia was in the best mood - she said it isn’t any ordinary weekend - it’s the summer holidays weekend - which obviously makes it so much more better :)
I’d love to know what you are all upto over the holidays and what ever it is you are doing , I hope you have an awesome time !
Hope you guys have the BEST summer holidays! We've been to Drayton Manor a few times and it's absolutely fab. You'll have a great time :D

I'm so excited for the summer. I hope you manage to tick off the bucket list.
ReplyDeleteI bet that was emotional. I think low cost are sometimes the most fun activities. As long as she is with the ones she loves than it doesn’t matter. I bet it’s exciting time to think of school buy uniforms etc too. Enjoy
