With lockdown and COVID, we haven’t been able to stay at my mum and dads this summer so I decided to book a chalet so we could go and see them.
My dad has been diagnosed with cancer during lockdown so going to see them was even more important for me , and turning it into a little holiday for the girls was definitely what we needed with everything that has been going on.
We captured the week with so many photos.Alessia turned 11 in Hemsby this year, and we really did have a lovely week :)
It looks like you had a lot of fun, I have to admit I have not been to Hemsby before, but with things the way they are can see many of us visiting various places in the UK
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Hopefully it's been caught early. Nice to see you made it into a nice little family break. Looks like the kids had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a good trip. I've never been there before (I live in Cornwall so we tend to do a staycation close by) but due to not being able to go abroad we have been looking at more UK based holidays.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your dad, hope he does fully recover. Hemsby looks like a fabulous place to visit on a day out. Would love to visit it one day
ReplyDeleteHemsby is such a nice place, its not far more norfolk broads and Great yarmouth if you want even more stuff, but Hemsby is a little mini seaside resort and still great fun, weve lived near it for years and have been many times.
