The younger two are actually poorly but have managed to settle them down for the night. We’ve had a lovely Christmas Eve . It’s always a chilled out one with our buffet and games and films .
We’ve spent the whole day inside - which has been lovely . We’ve played games and watched Santa Clause 3. We’ve snuggled up on the sofa with tea and biscuits and enjoyed our traditional Christmas Eve buffet where everyone just helps themselves to food all evening :)
We finished the night upstairs in the younger two’s bedroom watching the gruffalo and tracking santa with NORAD.
It’s the first year Nila actually understands Christmas and Santa and she has been so exited this evening putting down his milk and mince pie and seeing which country he is in .
I hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas Eve and are all set ready for tomorrow:)
Christmas eve is so much fun, nearly as much as the big day itself. Our family traditions were to have new PJs and to watch Muppets Chritsmas Carol. Hope you and your family have a lovely 2020

ReplyDeleteAwww this looks like the best way to spend Christmas eve. My husband had to work so my daughter and I spend the day crafting which was lovely and I hope it becomes a tradition for us.
