THE CHRISTMAS TAG 2020

It’s finally December , bring on all the mince pies and Christmas songs because this house is feeling all kinds of festive - let’s be honest , we have since October :)

Let’s start Blogmas month off with The Christmas Tag, I love these and love seeing what other people put for their answers too.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS TRADITION?

Ours has got to be the Christmas Eve buffet . Without fail we have a Christmas Eve buffet from around 2pm and we spend the afternoon eating , drinking , playing games , singing and just having the best day which really gets us excited for the morning.

WHERE DO YOU SPEND CHRISTMAS?

We spend Christmas at home , and have done since Kadiann was born . Christmas at home is so special to us , the kids can play with all their new stuff and I love cooking up the Christmas dinner with a bottle of Prosecco :)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS SONG?

Do I have to pick one? There are so many , but The Pogues Fairytale of New York has got to be up there first.

TINSEL OR GARLAND?

Both , the more your home looks like Santa’s grotto the better right? :)

MINCE PIES - LOVE OR HATE?

Love!!!! Sainsburys have done a mince pie wheats , you know the blueberry and cherry cereal wheats?, there is a mince pie version!! OMG! They taste SO good!

IF YOU COULD BE A CHRISTMAS MOVIE CHARACTER WHO WOULD IT BE?

Easy! Kevin from Home Alone. That would of been my idea of heaven as a kid , minus the wet bandits :)

PEPPERMINT OR GINGERBREAD?

Gingerbread , but I do love a candy cane in hot chocolate- yum!

REAL OR FAKE TREE?

We’ve had a real tree for the last 3 years but we have just bought a new sofa and have only a little space for the tree this year so we’ve used our fake one , miss the smell of a real one , but looking forward to not finding pine needles all of next year :)

DO YOU HAVE AN ADVENT CALENDAR THIS YEAR?

Yes I have the pukka tea one , and today’s tea was cardamom , aniseed and fennel , was delicious.

FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE?

Bad moms at Christmas , the holiday and last Christmas on my own . The grinch and all the Santa’s with the kids :)

Hope you enjoyed the tag. I’ve tagged my lovely besties

  1. We always have a bit of a party on Xmas Eve too. This year as it's just the two of us it'll be smaller, but I'm still looking forward to it.
