What a weekend!. When I say everything has gone wrong , I am not lying . It has definitely been one of them weekends where I had been wishing it to be over .
We have been having trouble with our boiler for the last few months and the hot water has been so temperamental at times , it always happens in winter doesn’t it.
With the pandemic and Covid , we haven’t been able to get anyone out because it isn’t an ‘emergency’, well , come Friday night , the hot water decided to give up and have the weekend off.
I ended up running the girls’ bath with the kettle - I know, hard times! , but there was no way I was doing that for myself , and Mezz didn’t fancy spending an hour doing that either so we put the shower in a can to test.
Call it fate, but we were sent a bottle of the shower in a can to try out at the beginning of the week and hadn’t got round to reviewing it - the joys of homeschooling and working from home.
If you’ve not heard of shower in a can before then it is exactly what it says on the bottle - a shower in a can. It’s a no rinse shower foam with antibacterial properties to give you that fresh shower feeling.
It has no scent and is alcohol and paraben free, so kind to the skin, as I suffer with sensitive skin and had no trouble using this .
To use , pump a hand of foam for each body part and rub that bad boy in and it dries itself - magic!
I am actually really impressed with this and will definitely be taking this on or our next adventures. We go camping and caravanning quite a lot usually so this would be a must for our holiday essentials.
Shower in a can retails at £9.99 and has on average 400 pumps which is the equivalent to 20 showers!.
