PROJECT 30 | NOVEMBER GOAL

Yesterday I decided to start a bit of a personal project for the month of November.

If you are a regular reader then you will know work is absolutely thriving and I am very grateful for that but more work comes less time for everything else.

I decided to kick start project 30 this month- 30 days of November, being accountable for entering December feeling the best version of myself .

WHAT IS PROJECT 30?

So it’s simply a month of daily goals I set myself, that are all manageable and will keep me on track and accountable for keeping me happy and bricking the best version of me !.

My goals aren’t really strenuous but forming habits take 30 days and by the end of the month I am hoping these daily goals will become a habit and make me feel better that I have stuck to them :)

So…

Move my body everyday - i love the gym and spin but some days with work I can’t manage to get there , so this might be going for a walk or a home workout.

Stay on track - this is a calorie deficit goal for me. Fuel my body with what it needs for my fitness goal. We all know I love to cook so most days it’s home cooked delicious dinners :)

15 minutes quick tidy - I haven’t got time for full days of house work, and I don’t want to waste a whole day cleaning either! BORING! So 15 minutes in the morning to make the beds , clear dishes , quick hoover etc will make the big day cleanings go away as it’ll be done each day - I’m hoping :)

Do something fun - I haven’t read since the summer because I just haven’t got the time , ‘the time’. I’m making time with this project, some reading before bed or doing my nails , having a long soak or a coffee date  - something for me every single day and guess what? I read last night! :)

Gratitude- before bed I do struggle to sleep as my mind just races over a million things, so I think of the day and what I’m grateful for, you could write these down if you wanted to, and i am hoping this will help me feel less anxious before settling.

Let me know if you’ve tried anything like this before and if you’d like to join in that would be great :)

  4. Sounds like a fab idea and a great way of carving out some time for yourself. I do this too, specifically with reading non-work related books. Just because. That little space makes such a big difference.
