Today we are doing absolutely nothing. It’s been a full on few days and yesterday we hit the sales and was not disappointed!.
Since Lush stopped doing the online Boxing Day sale I’ve always headed into town for an hour in the morning to pick up some goodies.
Lush is my only guilty pleasure and we save up to get some treats as they are half price , absolute bargains!.
The girls now like to spend their Christmas money in the sales so we all go up for a few hours and it’s such a lovely tradition with have now and I love that the girls love getting ready - bags , purses , it’s the cutest thing.
We were 4th in the Lush queue so I knew it would be a good shopping session and my god was it!. I got my facial toner half price, creams, shampoo, conditioners and bath bombs - was probably the best one yet!.
Kadiann and I only ever want to head to Lush and we came out of their grinning like Cheshire cats, yes the obsession is real :)
The girls picked up a few bath bombs and then we headed to boots and Superdrugs. Lessie got some make up and saved the rest of her money for some Robux and Nila picked up a Christmas unicorn teddy, her own Encanto flannel and hair brush and some chocolates.
We got home and Lessie ended up crashing out on the sofa for a 2 hour nap. The lack of sleep is definitely creeping up on us all, especially when the girls got us up at 5am Christmas morning :)
We played a few games before our dinner and I’ve got to say, if you are after a good family game then bugs in the kitchen from RAVENSBURGER is brilliant!. Nano bug in the middle of the maze and you’ve got to try and get him into your home, so much fun and we laughed for ages!.
Boxing Day dinner was SO good. Gammon, mash, cabbage and all the pickles , it’s a tradition we’ve had from when I was little and one the girls absolutely love.
I hope you are all enjoying the holidays and having some well need rest and time with your families …
