DEADPOOL AND SUMMER SPORTS CAMP

I have been waiting for the new Deadpool to come out and I honestly didn't think we would be able to get a date night in with the summer holidays in full swing now, but Nila was booked into sports camp for the day and I definitely made the most of the child free 6 hours I had.

For a bit of context, I work from home and have done for the past 7 years. It has its pros and cons of course, being able to work and look after the children in the holidays is always a blessing but sometimes it can be a challenge.

I looked into ASM Sports camp as they had been going into the school over the past few weeks before summer break up, doing gymnastics and wheelchair basketball and Nila loved it.

£22 for a day, it is based at her school and I thought I would give it ago. She was really excited until we got there, nerves always get the better of Nila but when I picked her up, she had the best day and wants to go every day - my bank account might differ :)

But all in all, I am so happy she had a lovely day and got to make some new friends.

6 hours child - free I was not wasting. I headed into town to pick up some water guns that were on offer and we had an eye on . They only had one set left so I was glad I had gone to pick them up.

Stopped off at Starbucks and got a small coffee to take on my hot girl walk home, I loved the walk home in the sunshine with my headphones, it really set me up for such a good day.

I logged onto work and got a few hours in. I cleared my emails, wrote some blog posts, and got some content done for a client for the week.

Got a wash load on the line and then booked to watch Deadpool & Wolverine with Mezz. We haven't been to the cinema alone for a very long time and Deadpool is our thing. Coffess in tow and I was so excited to have some time just me and him.

WHAT A FILM!!

I won't give any spoilers away but I absolutely loved it. 10/10 would definitely recommend watching if you are a Deadpool or superhero kind of fan.

  2. I also saw the new Deadpool and really enjoyed it! Glad your child enjoyed their sports camp in the end, leaving can always be a bit anxious.
