I don’t know about you, but I am in full swing when it comes to the kids and getting their Christmas gifts sorted. We finally have lists, along with plenty of subtle hinting from all three of them, so the end is very much in sight! Every year, I put together a few Christmas gift ideas for kids, and this year’s round-up is full of fun, festive and affordable bits that I think will cover most little ones.
Hopefully, this gives you some inspiration when you are out shopping or browsing online this season.
Yoto Player & Accessories
The Yoto Player is hands-down one of the best main presents you can buy for kids. It’s brilliant for screen-free fun, which we’re really trying to focus on, especially with Nila. The Yoto gives them independence while encouraging reading, listening and imagination. And the accessories make it even better, headphones, cases, books, story cards, albums, and even a create-your-own card. It’s such a good gift idea for children of all ages.
Festive Clothing
New clothes are always a must for my lot at Christmas. They absolutely love waking up to something new to wear on Christmas Day, and it’s become a bit of a tradition now. Blade & Rose have the perfect Christmas outfits for little ones. Their festive tops and leggings are just the cutest, and honestly, I don’t think you can get anything more Christmassy! If you’re looking for practical but adorable kids’ Christmas clothes, these are such a lovely option.
Sylvanian Families
If you have a Sylvanian Families fan, the Baby Santa’s Christmas Tree House is a guaranteed hit. It’s been on Nila’s list this year and with the huge collection she already has, I know she’ll be so excited. Sylvanian sets are great for imaginative play and make perfect Christmas presents.
Aquabeads
All my kids have gone through an Aquabeads obsession at some point. They are such a lovely, creative activity. The How to Train Your Dragon Craft Kit looks brilliant and would make a fab stocking filler or main gift for crafty children.
Festive Bedding & Cushions
Christmas bedding and cushions always make the house feel cosy and magical. The Catherine Lansfield Christmas Santa 3D Filled Cushion I picked up from Terrys is adorable, super soft and adds that perfect festive touch to any bedroom.
Story Time Chess
We always buy a family game for Christmas, and Story Time Chess looks perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to play in a fun, child-friendly way. A great educational Christmas gift!
Fuzzies
Fuzzies is a brilliant family game for after Christmas dinner — think colourful, fuzzy, tower-building chaos! It’s one of those games that gets everyone laughing and joining in, no matter the age.
Foodibles
Foodibles are adorable, cuddly toys that smell good enough to eat. They are super cute and make such a fun little Christmas gift. Nila loves a new soft teddy every year. I think these are going to be a big hit this year.
Twisty petz
Twisty Petz are the perfect, affordable little girl present. You can play with the cute pet and then twist it into a bracelet, almost like two gifts in one! They are fun, a collectable, which are so popular in the playground right now, and great for stockings or small presents.
Hope this gave you plenty of Christmas shopping inspiration!

ReplyDeleteMy children are a little older now but I still find they love anything that they can sit and make so craft kits are always a winner. We also try and get them a game to play so they aren't tempted to be on screens
