Family dinner time in our house is honestly one of the most important parts of the day for me. It’s our time to properly catch up. We talk about how the kids have done at school, what everyone’s been up to, and actually listen to each other, which I feel like doesn’t happen enough these days. Life gets busy, everyone’s rushing around, so when we do get that time together, we really do cherish it.

Even Nila got involved in the cooking this week, which made it even more special, and she wants to help all the time now. Those little moments in the kitchen together are the ones I love the most, even if it does get a bit messy!.
