FANTASY FARM AT CATTOWS FARM | DINOSAURS SUNFLOWERS AND SOAKED KIDS

Fantasy Farm at Cattows Farm has been somewhere we have been going for years now. Halloween at Cattows Farm is one of our favourite things to do every year, so when they invited us over to enjoy their summer attraction, we all couldn't wait.

Situated in Leicestershire, Cattows Farm is about an hour and 15 minutes' drive for us, which, in all honesty, for a full day out of fun and giggles, will always be worth it.

If you are looking for a family day out in Leicestershire this summer, there is honestly so much to do at Fantasy Farm. From getting absolutely soaked on the water attractions to dinosaurs, animals, sunflowers, fairground rides and plenty of food, there was something for all of us.

WATER MOUNTAIN

The Water Mountain was definitely one of our favourites, and we all came off absolutely dripping wet! It's a huge water slide that you climb up before sliding all the way down, and obviously once we'd been on it once, that wasn't enough.

So much fun for all the family and absolutely perfect for the heatwaves we have been having. We were completely soaked but dried off within minutes!

I'd definitely recommend taking a change of clothes though, especially if the weather isn't quite as hot when you visit :)

SUNFLOWER VALLEY

The Sunflower Valley was so beautiful. My hay fever didn't think so, but we managed to make our way around and the sunflowers were so pretty.

There are lots of gorgeous photo opportunities in there too, which obviously I couldn't resist!

It was such a lovely little walk and a nice change of pace after all the running around and getting soaked.

PETS CORNER

If you have been a regular reader, then you will already know Kay and her love for all animals. The squeal she does when she sees a pig is honestly hilarious! She absolutely loved Pets Corner, and we spent ages here with all the animals.

It's a lovely little area, especially if you've got animal mad children like mine, and one of those parts of the day where we could have probably stayed for hours.

DINO KINGDOM

One of the attractions we always love at Cattows Farm is Dino Kingdom. We are all really big Jurassic Park fans, and this genuinely feels like you're living it!

There are all sorts of dinosaurs around every corner, and it's such a lovely walk through too. The kids love spotting all the different dinosaurs, and I think I enjoy this bit more than they do.

AND MORE!

There is even more to do around Fantasy Farm with Farmyard Golf, mazes, fair rides, bounce land and Water Wars. Farmyard Golf is always good for a bit of family competition, although nothing stays friendly for long in our family! Water Wars is another chance to get absolutely soaked, because apparently Water Mountain wasn't enough for us.

There are also traditional fairground rides and stalls, as well as Big Bounce Land with huge inflatables for the kids. We went on a few of the fairground rides; we laughed so much, which pretty much sums up our entire day.

The fair and Big Bounce Land are an additional cost, so that's worth keeping in mind when you're planning your visit.

FOOD AT FANTASY FARM

Now obviously we can't have a family day out without talking about the food! There is a Food Village at Fantasy Farm with different food and drink vendors and places to sit down and have a little break from everything going on.

The gyros were INSANE.

Honestly, they were so good and exactly what we needed after spending half the day running around the farm.

IS FANTASY FARM AT CATTOWS FARM WORTH VISITING THIS SUMMER?

If you are looking for things to do with kids in Leicestershire during the summer holidays, Fantasy Farm at Cattows Farm is definitely one to squeeze in before the kids go back to school.

Fantasy Farm is running until 31st August, so there is still time to get a visit in.

Definitely one of our favourite family days out this summer!
