One thing i remember getting for Christmas one year as a child was a soap maker. I absolutely loved it and would spend ages making different shaped ones and opening up a 'shop' in my bedroom for my customers :)
We have been getting soap creative this weekend with Experimake Superb Sea Shaped Soaps. Ready to experimake? it is aimed at children 8+ and includes everything your scientist needs to create six different coloured scented soaps. It also comes with some pretty organza bags and gift tags to make a very special homemade present.
Add some extra ingredients and you can even make yourself an exfoliating soap scrub- i have been hinting at Alessia and daddy to make me one for christmas :)
We found it really simple to use and the age recommendation being the perfect age.
Super Simple Steps
1. Measure the required amount of soap and heat in a microwave in a suitable container/oven hob until liquid
2.Add your colour/fragrance with the pipette dropper provided - we actually made the colour green, so you can add the colours together to make different coloured soap if you want too!
3.Pour your mixture into the soap mould and wait for your creation to unfold - magic!
Our soaps were vanilla scented and smelt absolutely gorgeous! they lather up so well and left the bathroom smelling amazing for ages! Alessia has already asked for different scents for Christmas to make more and has given the set 9/10 which in my eyes is a win!
Have you tried the Experimake soap maker? let me know what you think and if your little ones have it on their Christmas list :)
