Now summer is over it has got me thinking about places for our holiday next year and i have been reminiscing over our holiday to Turkey. We didn't get to go abroad last summer as i was pregnant and very poorly and this summer little Nila arrived and i felt she was far too young to go abroad so i am so excited for next years adventure!
We went to Kusadasi and stayed at Aqua Fantasy for 7 nights. It was actually my first time on a plane, and the girls, and i had been to Belguim on a school trip by ferry for the day, so really this holiday was my first holiday abroad and was so excited, for the holiday and a tan- i didn't get a tan by the way! Unfortunately i have that skin that does not tan *sighs*.
We had the most amazing time and the girls absolutely loved it. Me and Kadiann had a Turkish bath and massage, which was definitely an experience!.Aqua fantasy has a water park and it is included in the stay so we had unlimited access to the park, which i think made the holiday perfect!.We also went all inclusive, which meant the girls had access to unlimited food,drink,ice-cream and cake all day, which i think if you are taking children on holiday,it works out so much cheaper this way.
I have no idea where to book for next year, have you been away this year? have you any recommendations? we would love another water park holiday. Let me know your favourite place abroad :)
Thanks For Reading

I have never been to Turkey but a friend went this summer and it looked amazing from her photos. It has made me think about it as a destination. I love Italy though so I am hoping to go there next year maybe to Tuscany.
ReplyDeleteI love all inclusive holidays. It takes all the stress out of finding where to have dinner each night, and the drinks at any time are ideal. We were to Majorca last year when Piglet was 8 months old, and Corfu this year when he was 18 months
ReplyDeleteLove Turkey, it's such an amazing place for a family holiday. Last time I went, I went to Istanbul though which is also amazing! Happy planning for next year's travels! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Turkey! You're photos are selling it to me though! That hammock! Wow! Looks so fab!
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely go to Cyprus as that is where we have been for 2 summers now and it is fantastic! If you are looking for somewhere touristy than Paphos is perfect as it has many shops and a beach and there is an amazing waterpark there called the Aphrodite Waterpark! But if you would prefer somewhere more private than a place called Argaka is absolutely gorgeous- the beach there is basically your own private beach as hardly anyone is usually there and there is a lovely bar and a few cafes- Argaka is 1 hour away from the waterpark in Paphos so is very ideal and close to tourist attractions but all of the villas have pools and the beach is only a few minutes away, so for a chill and relaxing holiday it is perfection! Would highly recommend- you should definitely give it a search online as you would LOVE it there! X
ReplyDeleteAww would love to go back his as a family. Looks like you all had loads of fun. Love the underwater photo
ReplyDeleteTurkey is fantastic and value for money difficult to beat! We took our eldest to Dalaman, we all loved it - wrote about in here: https://zenbabytravel.com/2015/10/09/dalaman-coast-october/ For next year in case you fancy something autentic, Italian and without breaking the bank - how about Ischia? https://zenbabytravel.com/2017/07/11/the-magic-of-ischia-in-3-days-and-2-kids/
ReplyDeleteLooks like such a fab holiday! x
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds like you had a great time. Ive never visited Turkey. The unlimited ice-cream and cake sounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, we are going there next year, so excited now, thanks!
ReplyDeleteIve never been to Turkey but I have heard SO many amazing reviews of it. One to consider for the future!
ReplyDeleteI've never thought about it before, but all inclusive would work so well for my son - he can either eat loads or nothing at all for a meal, so we wouldn't feel like we'd wasted money paying for a meal he didn't eat! Your photos look great, you've got to love hanging around the pool in the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteOoh this has got me dreaming of summer again! We went to Ibiza this year which was lovely - totally recommend a Holiday Village x
ReplyDeleteI dont tan either but its great you had a good time. Having access to a water park is brilliant, especially when you have kids. I hope you find a great holiday for next year.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Turkey, but loads of people have said what a great place it is to go on holiday.
ReplyDeleteTurkey is somewhere I've not been to before and never really thought about going. Your photos make it look like a great family holiday. All exclusive are great options for children, especially my fussy eater!
ReplyDeleteI have been to Turkey for a day trip and loved it, it is somewhere we would like to go on holiday to one day x
ReplyDeleteI want to visit Turkey so badly! I've heard it's just an amazing mix of Asian and European culture, and of course the architecture and the food. Glad you enjoyed it! (especially the Turkish baths haha)
ReplyDeleteI just love water park holidays, they are so much fun with kids, and creates a perfect family time. Last year we planned for Turkey and ended up being at Italy.. Hope we get to see Turkey soon!
ReplyDeleteOh how I would love to dial the clock back. I had planned on a trip to Turkey in last november, but had to postpone due to the civil unrest. Im still to do Turkey, but every Turkish pushes me towards the book button on Skyscanner:)
ReplyDeleteWow this is a fun-tastic holiday! Having this high summer heat, spending a holiday at water parks are a must.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great place to visit. This is perfect staycation for summer. Spending our vacation in this kind of place is a must.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! What an amazing holiday you had, we have never been but I've heard some great things about Turkey!
ReplyDeleteHow very interesting! I've often toyed with the idea of Turkey but never looked at it from a water park type of holiday. Looks like fun! We went to Subway Lagoon in Kuala Lumpur last year, they have a big mall/waterpark complex and its very moderately priced, I recommend that.
ReplyDeleteWe have been considering a all inclusive holiday if we were to go away again. Sounds like it was a good way to go
ReplyDeleteI've been to Turkey twice (over 10 years ago!) and it was a lovely place to visit, maybe one day I'll go again...
ReplyDeleteOh my this surely looks like a dream come true for any holiday getaway! I have never been to Turkey, but your photos make me envious and you got my brain rolling now! Lol

ReplyDeleteWow!! It looks like a wonderful place to visit. I really like seeing your family enjoying your vacation to turkey.
ReplyDeleteWe loved Turkey and went a couple of times before having the kids and once since. I am not sure I would travel there at the moment regardless of how brilliant it was last time we went. We enjoyed going to Tuscany this year though.
