i don’t know about you but I never seem to update my wardrobe for summer. I end up living in the same ‘summers dress and shorts and never think to treat myself .

Recently I’ve lost 2 stone after having baby Nila and I wanted to get some new bits for this summer and treat my wardrobe as it hasn’t been updated since  she was born and she is now 13 months old!
I decided to pick a few items from Fashion world that were a little out of my comfort zone , but gorgeous for the summer.

First item and my favourite out of the 4 is this gorgeous monsoon midi dress. It almost reminds me of a dress from the 60s as it hugs you at your waist and then flares out , which I am in love with!. It has pockets too, which is an added bonus and I honestly feel super pretty In it :)

I have seen these two piece layered dresses before and have always wanted to see if I’d look good in them. This was the item that I was more nervous about ordering. As soon as I put it on I was sold!. I love the length as I am only 5ft 4, but these dresses come in petite which is music to my eyes and come up perfect just by my ankle.

Now I have never worn a play suit or even wanted to if I’m honest. I always thought they were a little pyjama looking , I know! I have no fashion sense :) , and I didn’t think I would suit them , but I found some gorgeous playsuits . I have had so many compliments when I have worn this one  and it’s perfect for the day to hang out at the beach or jazz it up in the evening with some heels and a black choker and your ready for a night on the town!.

I have always loved stripes and shirt dresses and when I saw this striped shirt dress, I knew I had to add it to my basket . It’s a very light material which makes it the perfect dress to wear in this weather, and the wrap around tie at the waist gives you that extra definition to the body. I team this up with converses, making it a super causal outfit to wear .

Let me know if you’ve taken the plunge and gone out of your comfort zone for this summer . I’d love to see some of your finds :)

- I was sent these products in exchange for an honest review
