Mince pies are my absolute favourite thing at this time of year . A cup of tea and a mince pie in the evening is what I am all about and we love making our own.
I thought I would share with you a new recipe I have tried out and honestly , they taste so good and are super easy to make ! - which is definitely what I am all about being a mother of three :)
INGREDIENTS
A sheet of ready rolled puff pastry - If you want to make your own then definitely go for it :)
A jar of salted caramel and apple mincemeat - from Sainsbury’s
METHOD
Preheat the oven - gas mark 5/200c . Roll out your pastry and dollop half the jar of mincemeat onto it - trust me , half of the jar is definitely needed :)
Spread it all across your pastry covering it all .
Roll it up and then cut into slices of around 1cm or however thick you’d like them . Pop them
On a baking tray with grease proof paper . Spray with a little fry light and cook for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
You can dust them with a little cinnamon or Splenda sweetener for extra sweetness :)
These are so good!. Do let me know if you recreate this recipe :)
