With everything that is going on in the world , staying close to home is what we intend to do now until everything is in the clear , and to be honest , that’s absolutely fine with me .
So today is Ostara- the first day of spring and being pagans we celebrate this every year with gifts , Long walks and baking - this year was no different:)
The girls opened up their Ostara eggs and gifts , I’ve got to say the chocolate eggs didn’t last past the morning and they did replace breakfast today but that is fine with mummy :)
We got ready and took a long walk round the back of our garden . We are very fortunate to live on the back of a big forest which is full of trails and trees .
We set off in search for some sticks to make our Ostara tree later . We were out for ages and it was lovely to get some fresh air . We picked some fallen daffodils up too and all the girls had fun climbing the trees.
We got back , washed up and put Nila down for a nap whilst the older two did some baking . We made some lotus Biscoff spread muffins which were delicious , especially with a cup of tea .
Ostara tree made , and crafts full in swing , I made my egg shell candles for my altar to do some rituals once the girls were in bed .
It’s been a lovely day and was really needed.
Blessed Ostara everyone
