POTTY TRAINING | 4 MONTH UPDATE

It’s been 4 months since I decided to start potty training Nila . If you’ve not read my last few updates I will leave them linked below :)

POTTY TRAINING - WEEK 1

POTTY TRAINING | ONE MONTH UPDATE

THE BEST POTTY AROUND | 3 IN 1 POTTY TRAINING SYSTEM

Nila is still absolutely smashing potty training. She is still using the potty when she needs to and also now pulls her knickers and trousers down when she needs to go.

She can wipe herself too but needs help with the numbers 2’s , our favourite thing to do as parents eh? :)!

She uses the big toilets when we go out for dinner and during the day has still been absolutely brilliant. She knows how to hold herself if we are driving somewhere too. We had to drive to the supermarket the other week as we were on the way to the cinema but she said she needed to go.

2 weeks ago we got rid of the night time nappies . She will not go to the toilet  in her nappy what so ever , so her night nappies are always dry..

From the first week of potty training her , her nighttime nappy in the morning has been completely dry every single time.

One night , 2 weeks ago, Nila refused to put the bedtime nappy on and said she was a big girl and didn’t need them , so I took her lead and kept it off .

The next morning she was dry, which I knew she would be and that is Nila completely nappy free now!. I haven’t put a protective mat on her bed yet , but I think I will just incase.

She has done us so proud and has taken potty training in her stride , she was definitely ready for it and loves being a big girl like her older sisters.

That is another step done and I can’t believe my little baby is growing up as much as she is . I love seeing her reach these milestones but also makes my heart a little sad at the same time .

Next is nursery which she starts next Monday. Keeping fingers and toes crossed that she will love it and settles in really well .

  1. Well done Nila! Olivia is dry during the day now and also holding it on journeys until we can stop somewhere. She's had a couple of accidents at night but we're about to try her without her night time nappies soon too.

  5. That is such an amazing achievement for Nila! Totally loving her progress. I remember when my kids were potty training and I used to do the happy dance each time the progress. My advice is take your time and don't rush it.

  6. Well done , that's so impressive as it can prove difficult with some kids. It looks like Nila was ready for the move from nappies to knickers.

  9. Well done Nila, that's great she has got it sorted before starting nursery! It's lovely when they feel like they want to be a big kid and just get on with it. It's good letting them take the lead on it.

  10. She sounds like she is doing amazing! My daughter was potty trained at 2.5 years but both my boys were longer at 3.5 and 4 years.
