Flapjacks are a hit in our house and have been for years . Buying them from the shop can get expensive so I’ve whipped up this easy recipe which is super affordable and absolutely delicious.
INGREDIENTS
300G Porridge oats
100G Brown sugar
200G Melted butter
3 Tablespoons of golden syrup
LETS GET BAKING
Preheat your oven to gas mark 4/180C
In a bowl add your sugar and melted butter and give it a good mix .
Add your porridge oats half at a time . This way all of your porridge oats gets coated in the mixture which helps it all stick to the golden syrup .
Add in your 3 tablespoons of golden syrup and mix mix mix !
Spray your tin with fry light . I’ve used various tins and trays. It all depends on how thick or thin you want your flapjacks to be .
Pour your mixture into your tin and pop it in the oven for 45 minutes or until
Golden brown .
There you have , the easiest and most delicious flapjacks . Store them in a tub and they last upto 7 days , if you haven’t eaten them all before then! :)
