Having a house full of girls ,we are no strangers to the time of the month. Hormones all over the place and bars upon bars of chocolate- that’s how we roll in this house.
We recently discovered Trade to Aid which is a non profit amazing and haven’t looked back. They are a bit for profit social business that sells reusable sanitary pads.
We switched from disposable sanitary products years ago and use period pants , but have always wanted to try the reusable towels.
I’m really surprised by these. They are really comfy and you can’t tell you are wearing one at all. I love that they come with a bag too, which is great for out and about , school or work .
Their reusable period pads are made from high quality super soft bamboo charcoal and recycled from plastic.
For every pack that gets sold , Trade to Aid donate a pack to women and girls in need in refugee camps which is absolutely amazing.
Each pack contains two light pads, two medium pads, two heavy pads and a waterproof wet bag. The set costs just £29.97 and will last a lifetime, as well being cost effective! :)
I have teamed up with Trade to Aid to give away a set this Christmas.

I love that there are options like this available. I switched to the menstrual cup a while ago but love this as an option for those who can't use the cup.
ReplyDeleteI have two teen girls and we switched to reusables a year ago. We have pads as well as period pants and I found the initial pay out expensive but we'll reuse for such a long time it is so worth it
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea! I have never used reusable pads before and planning to switch to this. Saves time and money.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried reusable sanitary items myself; I don't often need to use sanitary products so tend to just use tampons when I do need to.
ReplyDeleteThe variety is amazing, I'll make sure to check it out!

ReplyDeleteHaving the waterproof bag is such a good idea. I always was concerned as to what would happen if I was out and about, but needed to change them! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of options. I'm past this time and I don't miss it. ;) Though I do miss many other things from my youth. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool giveaway and such an interesting concept!
ReplyDeleteOoooo I have always wanted to try these. I know I would be able to save a lot of money if I had these because the cost of pads adds up overtime.
ReplyDeleteI love that they donate to other girls. What an amazing cause for a natural thing that happens to all females.
ReplyDeleteI love that these are both earth friendly and supportive of women who would be otherwise unable to leave home. Win. win!
