Being a mother of three daughters, our home is very much a girl power zone :). I think it is so important to teach your children to believe in themselves and help them find that confidence that they need for them and also for life.

I have two teenagers and a 4 year old going on 14 :), she definitely takes after her big sisters for the sass!. So for us, bringing our daughters up to be strong , independent women is something we strive to do.

For them to find their voices and feel empowered in themselves is so important. Social media and the world today has a ton of stigma around the way our girls are suppose to be ,dress, act ,do - it’s become a culture of fit in or fall behind, and this leads to all sorts of problems for our younger generation.

With it International Women’s Day coming up, Buyagift have been working to support the Charity ,Girls Out Loud this year.

Girls out loud is a charity that was set up in 2009, by a lovely lady named Jane Kenyon,  with a mission to help empower and inspire teenage girls in the UK, which is definitely something the UK needs, she has been working on helping teens with her entrepreneurial experience in personal development .

With every purchase of the Treat her experience box, Buyagift will be donating 10% of each sale towards Girls Out Loud until the 8th March 2022.The treat her box is priced at £49.99 and has some really lovely experiences to choose from in nearly 3,000 different locations.

From afternoon tea to relaxing facials , or if you want something a bit more out there, they have some really cool adventures like escape rooms and luxurious nights away.

The treat her experience box is a lovely gift to give this International Women’s Day to someone in your life that really deserves it and also supporting a really good cause too.

  1. What a great idea we have raised our daughter to be her own person, never follow the crowd of feel pressured, I am going to look at their boxes

  2. This is such a good charity for buyagift to be supporting. I do think it's so important to enpower our girls and support the charity x

  3. So important to support our fellow women and girls! I always teach Olivia to believe in herself and she is very much 5 going on 15!
