Skincare for me is not only fun and i absolutely love it, it’s essential to keeping your skin not only looking good but feeling good too.You want to feel the best you possibly can in your own skin and I am such an advocate for that. So looking after yourself - inside and out is key :)

I thought I’d share with you my current morning skincare routine. This is what I am using at the minute religiously and my skin is really enjoying it.

My post on how to build a skincare routine is also a great one for knowing where to start, what to have or if you are struggling to build that new habit :)

When it comes to face wash in the morning, I’ll be honest, I’m not really that fussy, I usually use a gentle one but what I use 100% every morning with it is the magnitone cleansing brush.

It is my holy grail- three settings and so gentle on the face. Waterproof and small enough to take with you anywhere.

Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser has been my go to for a lifetime!. I absolutely love this stuff. Packed with rosemary, chamomile and eucalyptus, it smells incredible and is so soft and calming for the skin.

It’s suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive, and I haven’t had any breakouts or problems with this in all the years I have used it.

I got this one for Christmas actually and have been using it for the past two months and my skin is lapping it up. It has got glycolic acid in it but it isn’t harsh on the skin as the chamomile extract balances it out.

It’s also an exfoliator which is such a little bonus. Which means I only exfoliate on a Sunday evening and that’s absolutely enough with using this every morning  :)

If you are knew around here then, my name is Kira and I have a lush problem :), it’s true!. I bought a few beauty products in the Boxing Day sales last year along with the obvious mountain of bath bombs and bubble bars.

This vanishing cream is one I hadn’t tried before but I am hooked!.Break outs in the summer for me can get me down, as it will anyone, but this cream is super calming with its lavender honey water and jojoba oil. It feels like heaven on the skin, is matte so dries without leaving a greasy film on your face which is not a vibe in the summer - honestly I love it!.

Also lush do samples so if you want to try any of the lush products I feature in my beauty posts then go into store and ask for a sample :)

We all love the sun kissed look but please don’t forget the skin cream, a burnt nose is not a good look :) I have used the La Roche Posay anthelios XL non perfumed dry touch gel cream for years. It is UVB and UVA and the ONLY suncream that doesn’t break me out.

It lasts for a life time too, I only use just over a pea size as it goes along way and it’s magic! You can thank me later!.

I am definitely a lip balm kinda girl. I don’t really wear lip gloss or lipsticks unless I am going out. I found my long lost love on the aeroplane on the way back from Spain and I couldn’t be happier!.

The Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip protectant. This was my holy grail back in the day. I use it morning and night . It relieves chapped and sore lips too and it’s also SPF 15, so perfect for the summer .

Let me know if you are trying out any of these products and what your summer go too products are :)
