Half term is here and we’ve got a ton of cool stuff planned out to keep us going during the next week, as well as some really fun bits to test out at home too!.
We’re starting off with this really cool smoothie maker from Chill factor.
We are a house that absolutely loves smoothies so one that the children can use independently with a little help from mum is an absolute bonus and they love the fact that it is made just for them :)
The box includes the smoothie maker, which has a safety protective top which is where you pop your fruit in without the little ones being able to cut themselves which is brilliant.
A straw which doubles up as a spoon and also a ton of recipes along with the instructions.
HOW TO
Chop up your fruit - we did strawberries and bananas for our first go. Make sure you cut up your fruit into small chunks so they fit through the gauges at the top.
Add your fruit in with either milk or a fruit juice of your choice and we added a little drizzle of honey for extra sweetness :)
Place the lid on,pop it on the base and press the button to start the magic. Nila was so impressed that she made a smoothie all by herself with little help.
I love that the smoothie maker encourages independence and also creativity.
The children love to come up with their own recipes - normally including biscoff :), but you can change the recipes up every time you use it, so treats and healthy drinks are always an option.
The smoothie maker takes 4x AA batteries which aren’t included in the box and it retails at around £15.00.
If you are looking for something to do with the little ones over the half term then these are available now from a few retailers including Smyths Toys, Amazon, Argos and Very.
Ohh this sounds like a great Christmas gift - I love the idea that they can make it themselves when they want a little snack.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great. Smoothie makers are often difficult but this looks very easy, even fun. This may have to go on the Christmas list,
ReplyDeleteThis looks so great, and children friendly. A great way to encourage the littles to have a bit more fruit - especially when they can get involved.
ReplyDeleteThe smoothie maker sounds so nice. The kids look like they are enjoying making the smoothies. ( Nayna)
ReplyDeleteThat smoothie maker is so cute! It's the perfect gift for a little someone who wants to learn how to make things in the kitchen.
