5 THINGS TO DO THIS EASTER HALF TERM

Easter half term is nearly here and I am determined to get through these 2 weeks, working, keeping my house from being destroyed and having fun!.

5 things we do over the half term that doesn’t cost the earth, is time manageable if you haven’t booked a lot of time off of work and that is fun for all :)

BAKE

We love baking and it’s one of our favourite things to do on a Sunday. We’ve been loving all the Easter creations we’ve been doing over the past few weeks including these delicious creme egg chocolate brownies .

EASTER HUNT

These are always a hit and depending on the weather, we’ve had garden hunts and indoor ones. To keep the cost down, don’t bother with the expensive egg hunting kits.

Buy some little cheap treats, Haribo packets and little
Freddos are 15p in Asda. Write some clues on card and pop them around the house, the girls go mad for these and absolutely love doing them.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES

Always check your local Facebook page for things in your area. There are quite a few activities on around us for free!.

SPRING WALK

Spring is definitely springing and you can’t beat a long walk in the sunshine. Pop yourself a coffee in your flask and get outside .

See what you can find in nature and play eye spy on the way.

CRAFTS & GAMES

We’ve started doing our weekly games night again and I have missed it!. You really can’t beat an afternoon game of UNO.

This half term just remember the kids are on their school break and sometimes they are just happy with recuperating from a busy term at school.

Don’t break the bank trying to get out and spend money every day, it’s honestly the little things that count :)

  5. our suggestions are not only budget-friendly and manageable for those with limited time off work, but they're also super fun for everyone. I particularly enjoyed your suggestion of baking, and those creme egg chocolate brownies sound absolutely delicious! Your idea of an Easter hunt with cheap treats and homemade clues is also genius, and I can't wait to try it out with my family here in the US.
