Taking the girls out and spending one on one time with them is something I have always done and I think I’f your children have a big age gap, it’s a great way for them to get that extra time with you.
The girls are 19,13 and 5, so soft play is going to be fun for Nila, but the other two will be sitting there clock watching :) .
So we do family things together like swimming and the cinema , but I do like to take them out so they can enjoy their own favourite things to do.
Alessia finished early yesterday as the schools were on strike so we had a little afternoon in town after work.
I’ll be honest, Alessia and I haven’t had a day out for a while so I was really looking forward to it.
We went to KFC for lunch, the rice box is my absolute favourite from there, if you haven’t tried it, definitely do!.
Primark , of course, Alessia picked up some little treats and some new headphones.
Make up and skincare for Superdrugs next and then a Starbucks pit stop- you knew that was coming :)
We had such a lovely afternoon and did so much laughing and obviously caught up with all the gossip, girls day isn’t girls day without a bit of gossip right?.
Good times are times spent bonding with our kids. My children are all grown ups now, and our bonding times are during weekends when they come over for Saturday lunch. When they were younger, I always took them to the park for a picnic or to the skating rink so they can burn off that extra sugar. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing that you get to spend some time with your daughter, I do too and it is so much fun...

ReplyDeleteIt must be tough sometimes coming up with things to do because of the mixture of ages, but sounds like such a lovely day x
