Sunday meal prep is going really well and even if it’s just a dinner or lunch prep, any prep helps the week so much.
This week was Shepards pie and oh my, it hit the spot!.
SHEPARDS PIE
What you’ll need is
300G lamb mince
150G frozen peas
5 carrots finely chopped
Stock cube / I used beef
Salt/ pepper
Glug of Worcester sauce
2 tablespoons of tomato purée
Potatoes
40G grated cheese
Put your potatoes on to boil, how much you use all depends on how much topping you want . I used 800G.
Fry your mince , add your carrots to soften, pop the lid on as this helps soften the carrots quicker.
Add your peas and all your other ingredients. Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
Add to a pie dish and then layer the mash and sprinkle the cheese.
Pop into the oven on grill setting until the top is nice and golden.
We served ours with spring greens and gravy- delish!.
