FACING MY FEARS | DENTIST VISIT

I am sitting in the dentist waiting room writing this and I honestly couldn’t be anymore scared.

Over the half term I ended up with an absess that I knew needed to be sorted and although I went to the doctors and got antibiotics, the doctors did say it was probably a tooth problem and would need to be seen by the dentists.

Now, I haven’t been to the dentist in 18 years, it is my biggest fear and I am sitting here shacking I am that scared.

I know I need a bit of work done , of course I do, I haven’t had a check up in 18 years, I’m surprised I still have all my teeth! :)

Facing your fears is something that takes complete courage and strength and although I am sitting here absolutely petrified , I am sure I am going to be fine .

I DID IT!

I have just come out and can’t believe I didn’t back out!. I cried my eyes out and had to be calmed down but I actually did it.

I had an X-ray and a deep clean and I’ve got to have quite a few little fillings and one big one but that wasn’t as scary as I thought it was going to be.

The dentist team were so lovely and put me at ease.

I have had to go private so the treatment all in all is going to cost just over a grand, which is absolutely crazy to me, but I am so thankful I haven’t got to have any teeth removed and I can say now that I have finally faced my fear.

If you are feeling how I was and don't think you can do it, bit the bullet and give them a ring. You can find a dentist Maidenhead that will put you at complete ease.
