TURNING 37 | LIFE IS SHORT

Over the years birthdays use to make me feel quite sad. Obviously not the birthday itself, who doesn’t love birthday cake right?.

It was the fact that I was getting older and I’ve had a real issue with dying and every year that went by I would be riddled with anxiety at the thought of death.

I know for most of us we feel this at some point in our lives and it is completely normal but it’s been on my mind more than most for sure.

Today I turned 37 and the past year has been an absolute whirlwind of emotions and struggles and I am just so grateful to be here.

Every year that goes by now I feel blessed to be alive and live another year.

I booked the girls and I a tubing session today and we had the best time, my god it’s tiring!, but was so much fun, who else can say they booked tubing for their 37th birthday :)

We had French fries for lunch and headed into town. Picked up a pack of uno cards and sat in Starbucks and spent the afternoon just relaxing.

Passers by were in awe of us and one lady said it was so lovely to see us all lost in the moment - it’s been a fun day with my girls, minus Kadiann as she has had to work all day, but we will definitely be catching up tomorrow.

We headed to Chiquitos for dinner and had birthday cake in bed.

Sometimes your mind has a mind of its own and honestly don’t sweat the small stuff. Life really is short and you only get one - enjoy it and live it to the fullest!.

  1. Happy Birthday, honestly when you hit 40 and 50 your outlook changes, you don't worry about the things you do now and just live each day to the full
