5 TIPS ON HOW TO ORGANISE THE PERFECT CHILDREN’S PARTY

It is finally the count down in our house for birthday season. We have a child’s birthday every month for the next 3 months and I don’t know about you but when it comes to birthday party preparation, every little helps right?.

I thought I would share with you some of my tips and tricks when it comes to organising the perfect birthday party with minimal stress, on a budget and lots of fun :)

SET A BUDGET

First and foremost, set yourself a budget. This is key when it comes to making sure the cost isn’t going to completely break your bank and you don’t go over board with buying bits.

It is so easy to just spend, spend , spend, right up until the birthday party, rather than stick to budget friendly birthday gifts and have enough left over for the party food and treats.

You can set a certain amount aside for each part of the party - £10 for cake , £15 for party bags etc , this always works well for us.

 CHOOSE A THEME

What theme is your little one going for ?. Nila wants a poppy playtime themed birthday this year and if your little ones loves poppy playtime or rainbow friend then you will all know, invitations are impossible to find ,so if like us you need to make your own invitation cards, online printers have an array of different invitation card sizes and shapes.

You can upload your design and get them sent to you with ease, and the panic of not being able to find the ones you need is over :) .

WHO’S COMING

Who is on the guest list?. Send the invitations out as soon as you know. This gives time for anyone to let you know if they are unable to attend and you have the proper head count for your party goods and supplies.

CHECKLIST

Talking of supplies. Now you know who is coming to the party , write your checklist of what you need, how many, and tick them off as you go.

This will give you a better indication of what you’ve got and what still needs to be purchased. You will honestly feel like you’ve got your self together and by this point be a hustle when it comes to organising :)

SHOP AROUND

Being organised means you can shop around and get more for your budget and do not forget to put the cake on the list!. No matter how big or small your budget is, a cake is essential right?.

If you’ve got a small party , maybe just a handful of friends or just the neighbours little ones coming round then a letterbox cake would be perfect for your tribe.

You can order it and know that it will arrive without not having to wait in or missing the parcel!, now if that doesn’t top off the most organised birthday party prep then I don’t know what will.

I hope these tips and tricks help when organising your parties this year and do let me know what themes you go with, I absolutely love a themed party! :)
