MUST HAVES FOR THIS SPOOKY TIME OF THE YEAR

It definitely feels like Autumn is right around the corner. The crisp morning air and the leaves are falling, I love this time of year, especially as it is Pumpkin season, if you are a regular reader and have followed us for a while you will know we love halloween!.I have done a round up of some of our favourite things and must haves for this time of year :)

I am all for the cosy days in, candle lit, warm cup of tea and some gorgeous flower. I work from home so I love making my office space look and feel pretty.

FLOWERS

Eflorist do the most amazing autumn flowers. They delivered their first bouquet in 1947 and just keep getting even more prettier as the years have gone on.

The autumn bunch is filled with rich red and warm orange blooms. The autumn range includes peach lilies, roses, deep red carnation and alstroemeria, plus seasonal foliage. Also come with a free box of chocolates :)

PAMPERING

Candles and a soak in the bath are my go to at this time of year, I love a relaxing bath of an evening with a bath bomb. You know my obsession is lush and this time of the year the halloween range is SO good!.

The prices range from £3.50 onwards so you could definitely treat yourself to a lush soak on a budget :)

BOOKS

We are a house full of book worms and you really can not beat a themed bedtime book, depending on the season. These two, Pumpkin soup and The last wild witch are Nila's favourites and they come out every year.

A great way to keep the children entertained with books and cutting the cost down is visiting the library . We go every month and switch up the bedtime books, you can also search and request any books that you have your eye on :)

GAMES NIGHT

We love a games night and keep Fridays for family night where games and movies take their turn. John Adams have a massive game collections for all the family to enjoy over the spooky season.

Whether you are really into your horror and fancy trying out the nightmare horror adventure where you role play as a team to solve the murder, this one includes interactive online game play and it quite spooky, or you are looking for something a little more family friendly for the young ones like Ghost castle where you need to avoid the traps and escape to win the game.

SWEETS

Trick or treat smell my feet - Swizzel have you covered with their endless tasty treats. Chew bars, lollipops and everything in between, the selection from Swizzel will satisfy everyones sweet tooth!.

If there are any left over than you can share them with the trick or treaters.

TREATS

Pimp up your treats and give them a ghoulish vibe!. Pukpip frozen bananas are a delicious treat which you can put a spooky edge on. Lots of cool ways to turn your banana into a ghoulish fun treat for halloween.

These are so tasty and good for you - its a win win right!
