MANCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKET WITH THE GIRLS

The time had come for our annual trip to Manchester for the Christmas Market. Kadiann and I have been going every year for the past 3 years and this year we had Alessia joining us.

She is currently doing her 2 week work experience with me so is at home working. We got up earlier to start our day so we could head into Manchester after lunch.

45 minute train ride and we were there. I have been looking forward to it for a few weeks now and wasn’t sure if we were going to make it with work and all the stress that Christmas brings us parents.

The past week has been one thing after another to remember . Presents to wrap, food to pick up and a million nativity performances.

We grabbed a Starbucks and headed to the shops. Shopping is definitely not Alessia’s favourite thing to do, completely the opposite to her big sister but I did hope it would pass as she got older but no. 14 and still hates shopping.

She did perk up when we spotted YO!, and sat down for some sushi and gyoza for lunch. We gossiped and giggled and it was really lovely to spend time with the older two.

Making one on one time with your children and quality moments together is so important and I try my hardest to make sure all the girls get their time .

It was getting quite dark so we headed to the Christmas Market. It is so much more festive when it’s a little darker. You get to see all the lights at their full potential you know :)

We sat and got hot chocolate, with baileys of course for Kadiann and I . We always keep the cups and this year’s cup is one of my favourites.

Corn dogs, pork and stuffing baps and biscoff brownies to take home with us.

We were absolutely shattered and couldn’t keep our eyes open on the train ride home.

Have you been to any Christmas Markets this year…
