We knew it was coming and I have been saying for the past week, it looks like there is snow in the sky , everyone doubted me, and all hate snow so probably didn’t want to believe it, but here we are, Sunday morning with a hot cup of coffee snuggled up on the sofa watching the snow fall.
Of course the first thing Nila has said is she can not wait to build a snowman. It’s a ritual and tradition, especially as you never know when it is going to rain and turn into absolute mush!.
Thank the heavens for our new car as Mezz managed to get out of the drive and into our local town as I had totally forgotten that I had purchased the main thing Nila has been talking about for Christmas and it had to be picked up but 4pm today or it was being refunded.
The downside of that is it has gone up to full price now and out of stock locally , definitely a jingle all the way moment ha!, so he went to pick that up whilst I made some lunch then it was operation Snow Man.
We all, yes all, including Mezz, I know, I am as shocked as you are, trust me, but he was in full swing and dedicated to making a bigger one than the girls and I did last year.
That’s where Lily was born, Nila named her, Starbucks in hand too!, definitely takes after me :)
My god it was cold. Heating on, coffee, milkshakes and the Christmas Lindt chocolates out and we put on Bad Guys Bad holiday on Netflix, it’s Nila’s current obsession.
Lush baths, sausage mash and veg with plenty of gravy then upstairs for some festive toe nails and a start of my new book for this month, Baby it’s cold outside.

Aw that snowman is awesome! We're in devon on the coast and never get snow, but it snowed all day on Friday and my 3 were so excited! Unfortunately it didn't settle :(

ReplyDeleteWe haven't yet had snow but it's been so cold and frosty that I'm convinced we will get some soon. I like the look of snow but it's always so inconvenient when it comes to doing anything and our road doesn't fair too well in the snow x

The dedication to creating a snowman, complete with a Starbucks-named addition, is heartwarming. Also, cozy vibes with the heating on, festive treats, and Nila's Netflix favorite.
ReplyDeleteMy friends abroad were so excited about the first snowfall of the season. We haven't gotten snow yet here but I really hope we do get some! The snowman looks so cute!
