Tis the season to be jolly and most of all make memories. Every year I try to plan some days out during the festive month that the girls and I can do and I thought I would share some of the places I have found and what we are up to this December.
WINTER WONDERLAND
I am so excited to tell you that the Winter Wonderland in Hanley is back this year. This is one of our Christmas traditions and last year it was unable to open, all the girls were distraught so I am thrilled it is back in full swing this Christmas and we can not wait.
Funfair, Santa, ice skating and all the festive food and drink you can handle, it is such a magical night and we love it.
NORTH POLE EXPRESS
The Polar Express is by far the best Christmas film hands down, I know a lot might disagree, I am the only one in my family who watches it as they all think it doesn't cut the Top 10 Christmas movies of all time but they don't know what they are talking about! :)
I have found the most magical North Pole Express in Blythe Bridge, it looks amazing. Gifts from Santa, festive cookies, mince pies and mulled wine, and most definitely a memory that the whole family will cherish and remember for years to come.
Prices start from £69 for a table of four guests.
PANTO
Pantos during Christmas are such a tradition aren't they, but we have never been. I have found two that are on during December and I will ask the children which one they would prefer to go to. A classic Snow White which runs up until Saturday 31st December Tues- Saturday from 10.30-2pm.
Tickets can be picked up here https://mitchellartscentre.co.uk/snow-white. Price are between £16-£22
The Regent Theatre has got Jack and the Beanstalk playing this Christmas from the 15th of December - the 7 January. Tickets are from £13 and can purchased at www.atgtickets.com.
CHRISTMAS POTTERY
Emma Bridge Water's Decorating Studio | Pottery Painting would be such a lovely treat. Book your sessions at £2.95 and then choose from all things including mugs, plates, bowls and more. They also bring out their festive stamps so it is really easy for the little ones to make their very own special something that can be brought out every year :)
XMAS CINEMA
Check your local cinemas as they are showing some really good Xmas classics in the kids' morning clubs for as little as £2.99 as well as some new festive films :)
CHRISTMAS SOFT PLAY
Book a Christmas Castaway retreat slot and get all festive at the check-in at the North Pole where you can meet the elf, collect your ticket for Santa and have the most magical fun with the Grinch and Cindy Lou.
Nila has never been but I know she is going to be so excited!. :)
Prices are from £4.99 depending on age, you can also add a build the bear activity too!.
