5 THINGS TO DO IN TENERIFE

After visiting Tenerife this year and having the best week with the girls, I wanted to share with you some of the things we got up to on our stay and the things we would most definitely do again on our next travels.

AQUALAND

Water parks are our go-to while we are away. Especially if we are in a hot country, you really can not beat a day at the waterpark, rides, slides and lots of slushies, perfect.

After searching for a good aqua park, Aqualand came up and it really is better than what the reviews say. So many rides to choose from, and different areas for all of the family, whether you are a little toddler or a Grandad, they have something for everyone.

It is actually bigger than you think too as we missed three sections of it, so can not wait to go back and explore the other rides. If you are visiting and booking, you can add a two-day pass for an extra 9 euros!.

Somewhere to stop for a bite to eat too and a slushy. They do the most delicious iced frappes with whipped cream too!.

Prices are really affordable and a great family day out.

SWIM WITH DOLPHINS

Inside Aqualand, you can get the chance to book in and have a one-on-one experience with the dolphins. Nila and I booked onto this and oh my, it was incredible. We got the chance to play with our Dolphin, Garna, and learn all about her life and how long she has been at Aqualand. Do tricks with her, give cuddles and kisses, it really was magical.

We also got photos to take home with us :)

SUSHI BAR

I love going out for dinner and exploring the restaurants on holiday. All-inclusive is great and good value for money but nothing beats finding a nice restaurant with friendly staff.

The sushi bars here are insanely good. Nila was in her element with her cucumber sushi and the older two girls and I really enjoyed trying some of the different sushi we had never heard of in the UK.

BEACH

The beach is my happy place, in any country I will hunt out the beach, I love it. One of the most popular beaches in Tenerife is Los Cristanos. Stunning and a whole day out. Close to the shops and everything you would need for a beach day - bucket and spades, beach towels, iced coffee and even cocktails, yes, they come up to you on the beach and make you a fresh cocktail. The mojitos were delicious and it is such a chilled-out vibe there.

Be sure to get there a little early as the deck chairs at the front do go quite quickly. We ended up buying some big beach blankets for 10 euros and using them for the day.

MONKEY PARK

Kadiann stumbled upon the Monkey Park before we travelled and was eager to visit. For a family-friendly and affordable day out, this was by far an absolute bargain. 10 euros for adults, 5 euros for children and the park is bigger than you think, with not only monkeys but birds, tons of cute little guinea pigs, lizards and more.

We held parrots, fed the animals and the children really loved it.

Have you visited Tenerife before, id love to know the things you got up to :)
