After finishing Flawless by Elsie Silver I honestly couldn't wait to get on to the next book in the Chestnut Spring series. Although you don't have to read them in a specific order, the order I found to read them on Tik Tok makes sense with the characters and the storylines in the books so I would recommend looking at the best way to read them.
Working as a nanny for the world's grumpiest single dad should have been simple.
Except I can't keep my eyes off him. And he can't keep his hands off of me.
Cade Eaton is thirteen years older than me and barely looks my way. Until I get him in the hot tub one night for a game of truth or dare. Then all bets are off - and so are our clothes.
He's gruff, a little rough around the edges, and it turns out broad-shouldered ranchers with filthy mouths are this city girl's kryptonite. So who am I to resist?
But in our quiet moments together, he softens, and I start to realise his hardened exterior is just a façade. Someone once convinced him that his best wasn't good enough. Yet I've never felt more cherished than I do in his arms.
My contract may say this arrangement is only for two months.
But my heart says this is forever.
This one played on my heartstrings and I read it in one sitting. I am a sucker for love and the whole single dad no mum-around vibe was just tugging on my emotions throughout the entire book.
My favourite so far, I have three more to read out of the series but this one was definitely a 5/5.
Have you started the series yet?.
Thanks for the tip. I am always looking for a good book to read. Especially while I'm at the pool.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned how awesome the Chestnut Spring series is. I need to get started reading it, I am actually very excited about it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a sizzling read! The contrast between the grumpy dad and the city girl adds a fun twist. I’m intrigued!
ReplyDeleteI love that you included a guide on the read order, as well. There are so many book collections out there that people say can be read in any order, but they really can't. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big book lover and I have always got a least one book on the go. But not read any of this series.
