After finishing Flawless by Elsie Silver I honestly couldn't wait to get on to the next book in the Chestnut Spring series. Although you don't have to read them in a specific order, the order I found to read them on Tik Tok makes sense with the characters and the storylines in the books so I would recommend looking at the best way to read them.

Working as a nanny for the world's grumpiest single dad should have been simple.
Except I can't keep my eyes off him. And he can't keep his hands off of me.

Cade Eaton is thirteen years older than me and barely looks my way. Until I get him in the hot tub one night for a game of truth or dare. Then all bets are off - and so are our clothes.

He's gruff, a little rough around the edges, and it turns out broad-shouldered ranchers with filthy mouths are this city girl's kryptonite. So who am I to resist?

But in our quiet moments together, he softens, and I start to realise his hardened exterior is just a façade. Someone once convinced him that his best wasn't good enough. Yet I've never felt more cherished than I do in his arms.

My contract may say this arrangement is only for two months.

But my heart says this is forever.

This one played on my heartstrings and I read it in one sitting. I am a sucker for love and the whole single dad no mum-around vibe was just tugging on my emotions throughout the entire book.

My favourite so far, I have three more to read out of the series but this one was definitely a 5/5.

Have you started the series yet?.

  1. Thanks for the tip. I am always looking for a good book to read. Especially while I'm at the pool.

  2. You mentioned how awesome the Chestnut Spring series is. I need to get started reading it, I am actually very excited about it.

  3. Sounds like a sizzling read! The contrast between the grumpy dad and the city girl adds a fun twist. I’m intrigued!

  4. I love that you included a guide on the read order, as well. There are so many book collections out there that people say can be read in any order, but they really can't. LOL.

  5. I'm a big book lover and I have always got a least one book on the go. But not read any of this series.
