I didn't know what to read yet, do you ever get in a reading slump and can't decide on what genre to go with?. After seeing mixed reviews of The Teacher by Frieda McFadden going around Tik Tok, I thought that was the perfect choice to see what all the fuss was about.
The Teacher By Frieda Mcfadden
Lesson #1: Trust no one.
Eve has a good life. She wakes up each day, kisses her husband Nate, and heads off to teach math at the local high school. All is as it should be. Except…
Last year, Caseham High was rocked by a scandal involving a student-teacher affair, with one student, Addie, at its centre. But Eve knows there is far more to these ugly rumours than meets the eye.
Addie can’t be trusted. She lies. She hurts people. She destroys lives. At least, that’s what everyone says.
But nobody knows the real Addie. Nobody knows the secrets that could destroy her. And Addie will do anything to keep it quiet…

Wow!. In the first chapter, I was intrigued and loved where the story was going. I brought my Kindle down with me in the morning to carry on reading with my coffee the next day as I was so invested in the characters.
Plot twist of an ending and I didn't see it coming at all. My mum has also read this book and said the same thing. The plot twist was fantastic.
Such a brilliant book, definitely give this one 5 out of 5.

I need to have a TBR list too. This one sounds interesting. I love it when you get drawn in immediately.
