SCHOOL SHOPPING & PASSPORT DRAMA

 Finally Friday, honestly this week has dragged so much, I think it is because I have had quite a lot of work and I feel like I have been chasing my tail a little bit this week. 

I promised Nila we would have a girl's day out so we headed to town for a girl's shopping spree and of course Starbucks. I got the girls their school bags before I went to my mum and dad's and haven't done any school shopping since so I managed to get everything else they need in town and then ordered the rest online, panic over!.

We are off to Wales for a few days next week but made a bit of a last-minute decision to book a holiday abroad at the end of the summer, it was more Mezzer's idea, and he didn't realise that the children needed their passports renewed. 

A lot of back and forth with the renewals. Initially I got their pictures done at the booth and then went into the post office, to then be told they do the passport pictures, but I didn't have the kids with me. I had to come back with the children and do them, then they wouldn't upload onto his system and be approved, it was stressful let me tell you.

We managed to get them sorted and had to send them off for someone to confirm Nila's identity and for them to receive the old passports. Yesterday I got an email to say everything is all well and they will let me know when the new ones have been dispatched. 

This morning i had a text to say Alessia's will be delivered tomorrow but Nila's is slightly delayed!.

We have two weeks at the latest to go away in time to be back for school when the girls start back in September, are they going to come in time, who knows. We obviously didn't book anywhere, I'm all for manifesting but even I'm not that stupid :)

We have said if they do come then we are going to book a last-minute holiday anywhere that comes up, which will be a nice surprise, if they dont, we will save our money and book somewhere for the October half-term.

The girls and I had a lovely week away in Tenerife in March and stayed at Laguna Park 2. I also went on a press trip with Jet2 and discovered the best things to do in Chania, so this getaway is more so for Mezz this year, but I do love the sunshine!.

It is still warm here in the UK, but quite a lot of rain so I think summer is slowly coming to an end, which only means one thing - Halloween!.

We've been into home bargains today and there were some really cute Halloween bits. I picked up a new mug, I know,i cant help it!.Hoping to get to the big TK MAXX to have a nosey at all their spooky bits soon. 

Spending the evening working, if we do end up going away after our Wales trip then i need to get as far ahead as i possible can with work!.
