WHAT I'M READING | BRAIN DAMAGE | FREIDA MCFADDEN

 This one took me a while to get through, I have really lost my reading mojo, and I can't seem to put my finger on it, but I managed to finally finish this one by the end of the month, thank god, still hoping to keep up with my book a month this year :)

Brain Damage By Freida McFadden

After years of hard work, Dr. Charly McKenna finally has it all. Prosperous career as a dermatologist? Check. Spacious apartment overlooking Central Park? Check. Handsome lawyer husband? Double check.

Then one night, a bullet rips through the right side of her skull and she loses everything.

As Charly struggles to recover from her brain injury, she begins to realise that the events of that fateful night are trapped in the damaged right side of her brain. 

Now she must put the jigsaw pieces together to discover the identity of the man who tried to kill her... before he finishes the job he started.

Really enjoyed this book, at one point I really didn't know where it was going but then had a bit of a chapter twist and loved the plot.

The ending was as I hoped, without giving away any spoilers.

Definitely worth a read if you are into psychology thrillers, with a bit of a love story thrown in the mix :)
