Family dinner time in our house is honestly one of the most important parts of the day for me. It’s our time to properly catch up. We talk about how the kids have done at school, what everyone’s been up to, and actually listen to each other, which I feel like doesn’t happen enough these days. Life gets busy, everyone’s rushing around, so when we do get that time together, we really do cherish it.
Another author I found last year and have been going through his books on Kindle Unlimited is Daniel Hurst. He has quite a few books, so of course, I downloaded most of them while I have Kindle Unlimited for the month, definitely getting my money's worth this time!
Trentham Gardens is somewhere I haven’t been in years. The last time I visited was when I was working with BlogOn, exploring Stoke-on-Trent and showcasing what the area has to offer. This time was a little different. My mum has been staying with us for the week, and we fancied a proper girls day out, and my mum has never been, plus we needed somewhere to go as I was working on a project too, so it was a win-win :)
If you are anything like me having a few plans sorted for the Easter holidays just makes everything run a little smoother. Two whole weeks is a long time to fill, and although I am all for a chilled movie afternoon on the sofa or a bit of a crafting session at the kitchen table, it’s nice to get out and about too, especially when it doesn’t cost a fortune.
The sun is shining today, and it really does feel like spring is finally on its way. I love being outside – it’s so grounding, and being outdoors in the sunshine always puts such a smile on my face. It completely changes my mood, I've even picked up some ice today, iced coffees here I come! :)
The sun has been coming out now and again over the past few weeks, and I keep catching myself looking out at the garden thinking, where do I even start?. It’s definitely been neglected since last summer. The pool is still up, yes, with the muckiest water in it and I know I should probably sort it, but honestly, the weather hasn’t exactly been inviting me outside, winter has been SO long!.
