RUGDOCTOR PORTABLE SPOT CLEANER | REVIEW

if you have followed us for a while then you will know we have recently moved home , back to Staffordshire. The previous tenants had pets and I was eager to get the carpets cleaned with Nila being an avid crawler :).

When we got the chance to review the RugDoctor portable spot cleaner , I jumped at the chance , I couldn’t wait to give our carpets and almighty clean!

I was a little sceptical as I have never actually used a carpet cleaner before so it was all knew to me, and also , I had images of a soaking wet carpet and having to wait days for it to dry- anyway it came and I got excited!.

At first glance it is super compact and very straight forward when looking at - the On/off button is visible , the clean water tank and waste tank are both easy to see and easy to detach and reattach. The motorised brush in the middle and comes out with a click- all very straight forward, that’s what I like :)

So to use the Spot cleaner is the easiest machine I have ever actually used. You un click the clean water tank and fill to the water line with hot water and then the spot cleaner up to the spot cleaner line- you do get a little bottle of cleaner with the machine, which is a bonus.

Click the tank back in place and you are literally ready to go. Unhook your brush and turn on the motor. There is a button underneath the brush , almost resembling spray can , which you push for your soapy water to spray out of. Spray your area and then get going.

I tried both ways actually / sprayed and then cleaned and also held onto the spray button whilst cleaning. I guess it depends which works best for you as they both worked fine if I am honest .

My living room took around half hour , which isn’t to long at all, and the carpet was a little damp but tried within 40 minutes and was ready for the crawling to commence :)

The waste tank on the other hand was horrendous! It actually made me feel a little sick. The carpet cleaner had gotten up cat hair as well, which much have been embedded right down into the carpet, I was speechless but it just goes to show how good this machine!

I am very happy with the results of the RugDoctor. It does what it says and is very efficient!. It retails at £119.99 and can be purchased for many stores
