A WEEKEND IN SUNNY WALES

Monday is here and the girls are back to school . We have been to greenacres and sunny sands caravan park over the weekend with the in laws and it has been such a lovely break away.

We drove down on the Friday after Mezz finished work and it didn’t take us as long as we thought it was going to . We got there in time for some chippies and the evening entertainment .

The girls absolutely love the pub as it is family friendly and has a very impressive ball pit at the back with a newly built disco room. Nila was in her element in there and she is a little obsessed with ball pits at the minute so she was a very happy bunny.

I had quite a few gins and really enjoyed the night . It’s really lovely to just let your hair down , especially working from home and looking after a toddler all day ,I don’t get much adult company so it was lovely to enjoy the evening with adults for once and a few drinks! :)

Mezz and I rarely get anytime together so was really nice to actually spend some quality time with each other too whilst the girlies were off with nana and grandad

We were right by the park too - so the girls could enjoy a little run around whenever they wanted , which is always a good thing ain’t it !

Saturday we headed to the market in Prestatyn. My mother in law did say it was big , but big isn’t the word, it is huge! We actually spent all day there and even had a lunch stop ,then carried on with the other half of it ! The girls got completely spoilt and ended up with new shoes and a swimming costume , slime - we actually managed to find the minion movies DVD!

We’ve been in the hunt for it for ages and finally found it for £3, so a movie night and popcorn is definitely on the cards this Friday:)

We also found a little scuttle big for Nila  as she loves the bikes at playgroup and she couldn’t wait to get on it , although she did get lazy and demanded to be pushed , we all know Nila is a bit of a diva , bless her.

We also found a spare upsy daisy that we picked up as if you follow us you will know we lost her original one and I had to buy another one off eBay for a a small fortune!. I love a bargain and now we have a back up upsy  daisy, feeling so prepared now !

We went the arcades Saturday evening and the girls won a ton of teddy bears . Alessia also went to the youth club that is there and made some friends who she can’t wait to see again. We went back to the in law’s caravan for a coffee and headed to bed as we were off swimming in the morning.

Sunday morning we decided to go swimming and head back Home in time for Nila’s nap. She really doesn’t like the car seat at the minute so hopefully she would fall asleep for the journey home - she did :)

Swimming was a hit! Nila and I were swimming ambassadors for turtle tot when she was younger and she loved swimming but I haven’t taken her since , I really need to as she was in her glory. Alessia didn’t want to leave and wanted to stay in the pool all day.

They have an outdoor one too, for when the summer comes round so we’re really looking forward to that . Fingers crossed we can save enough pennies and book a week away for the half term coming up as we have had the best time ..
