JUNGLE SNAKES AND LADDERS | ORCHARD TOYS REVIEW

One game we always play at the arcades when we go to Great Yarmouth on holiday is snakes and ladders and Nila loves it when we get on the board and go up the ladders and down the snakes.

Summer holidays are in full swing and we’ve stocked up on some bits for the children including some new board games .

Of course Nila wanted snakes and ladders and we’ve been lucky enough to have had the orchard toys jungle snakes and ladders sent to us to review :)

We love orchard toys as a whole and our collection of games is ever growing.

The box contains

• 1 dice

• 4 coloured counters

• 1 jigged playing board

If you’ve not played snakes and ladders before then where have you been all of these years? :)

The aim of the game is to reach the finish line without sliding down one of the slithering snakes , and getting them bonus boosts by climbing the ladders.

It is such a classic game and this cute set is the perfect starter for little ones ,aimed at ages 4-7.

It has helped Nila with her number counting and also sharing and taking turns. If you have a 4 year old then you’ll know their patience can sometimes be zero on a scale of ten, so getting her to wait her turn has been great for her learning development.

This game is from the orchard toys mini games collection which is perfect for travelling , so we will be taking it to Great Yarmouth when we visit next week.

It retails at £5 and can be picked up online or in your local entertainer store.

  1. This sounds like a great game for little ones. My son hasn't played snakes and ladders but I'd sure he'd love it.
