LEARNING MADE FUN WITH MATHS MINDS

Learning at home is something we love to do. Especially when the children are at that peak stage of grasping it all. Their little brains are like a sponge and they soak it all up very early on.

Nila is 4 and is in Reception, and if you have followed us for a while now,you will know she loves to learn- it’s her favourite thing.

Whether it’s doing her phonics after school or getting her maths blocks out and making sums up, she absolutely loves it.

Testing out new resources is always fun and we are always up for adding to our ever growing learning collection at home.

Math minds is a bi- monthly subscription box that has been set up to help parents build happy and confident little math superstars without it being boring .

The box is aimed at children aged 4-8 and will come with activities age appropriate.

I use to hate maths when I was younger, but this box is SO much fun!.

It is set up with weekly activities, which I thought was a really good idea. Nila likes to do everything at once ,so this was nice to be able to do a few activities each week in the booklet and have something to look forward to.

The box follows the UK curriculum and comes with everything you need for the activities, all supplies are provided.

This week we’ve been doing jigsaws which is one of Nila’s favourites and great for hand eye coordination and memory skills.

We’ve been making things with foam shapes. Houses and smiley faces and we even got some cars in our box and a set of shape road maps to use.

What I love the most is each box is designed to help in one particular area of maths, so you are concentrating solely on one area, building that confidence and knowledge before going onto another.

The subscription box is £39.99 and can be ordered from Maths Minds.

Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing our weeks of activities on my Instagram :)

  4. I like how colorful and bright this kit is. I think learning kits that have a lot of color really attract children to interact with them, which helps so much!
